Kahului, Maui, HI – September 25, 2017 – Queen Ka’ahumanu Center announces Holiday Gift Wrapping fundraising for Maui non-profit organizations during the upcoming 2017 holiday season.
Maui 501c3 non profit organizations are welcome to apply to provide holiday gift wrapping and jingle ambassador services on dedicated dates in December. Organizations will be permitted to sign up for one night only. Limited dates available.
Gift Wrapping gives non profit organizations the opportunity to outreach, educate and fundraise during the highest QKC traffic season of the year. The organization must provide coordination of 4 volunteers, collect donations for gift wrapping via cash and credit card, and provide own gift wrap, ribbon, tape, card and pens.
In addition, the organization will be required to select a date to be the dedicated Jingle Ambassadors. The organization must recruit 12 volunteers to fill cups of hot chocolate and sell snow wands and snow headbands. QKC will provide product and point of sale support. The organization will receive net proceeds of all wand and headband sales.
“QKC is delighted to support our Maui non profit organizations, especially during the holiday season”, says Toni Rojas, Marketing Director. “Last year, together we contributed over $200,000 to our community”, says Rojas.
