Kahului, Maui, HI – March 27, 2017 – Queen Ka’ahumanu Center presents “Let’s Support Autism Awareness Together” for the entire month of April 2017.
The kickoff to this awareness month will be at Maui Made Sunday on Sunday, April 2 where Autism Awareness Day will be celebrated from 10am to 5pm. Along with an array of locally Maui Made products and live entertainment, non-profit organizations that provide services to those with physical and intellectual disabilities will outreach and educate. The public is encouraged to wear blue in support of Autism Awareness Day #lightitupblue
“QKC supports the effort to raise awareness about children with autism. Through education and understanding, we encourage acceptance, compassion and inclusion”, says Toni Rojas, Marketing Director. “Join us for a fun-filled and educational day, and don’t forget to wear blue!”, says Rojas.
