Kahului, Maui, HI – December 6, 2016 – Queen Ka’ahumanu Center welcomes Da Maui

Sleigh on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 3-6pm in the North-East parking lot, corner for

Ka’ahumanu Avenue and Kane Street.

Da Maui Sleigh began as a father and son tradition over 16 years ago when James Presbitero

saw a small sleigh pass by in his neighborhood and decided to recreate the vision on a larger

scale. Created at his own expense and through unsolicited donations, Da Maui Sleigh is now

an annual holiday tradition, visiting communities throughout Maui bringing joy and happiness to

Maui’s keiki.

“We are so very excited to offer Queen Ka’ahumanu Center as a sleigh ride venue this

weekend”, says Toni Rojas, Marketing Director. “James, Santa, and his team of elves truly

exude the spirit of the holiday season. We can’t wait to witness all the joy and smiles”, says

Rojas.

The event is expected to draw a large crowd and therefore the public is encouraged to bring

hats and water while they wait for their ride. There are no reservations. Entry opens at 2:30pm,

the first ride will commence at 3:00pm and the last ride is 6:00pm.
