QKC will be accepting school supplies from Tuesday, August 1 through Sunday, August 6, 5:00pm. Drop school supplies such as notebooks, pens, pencils, rulers, crayons, markers, backpacks and more to the QKC Guest Services Kiosk and receive a coupon for a buy-one-get-one free sweetFrog frozen yogurt.

“A school supply drive is a great way to give back to our community”, says Toni Rojas, Marketing Director.  “For as little as fifty cents, you can help a keiki”, says Rojas.

On Saturday, August 5, the Let’s Get Back To School Together celebration continues from 11:00am to 1:00pm with Keiki Crafts by Aunty Ruth, backpack giveaways and latest school trends fashion show by Macy’s.  In addition, the Maui County Council, Boy Scouts of America will be on hand from 10am to outreach and educate families and youth about Scouting, showcase their Pine Derby track, collect school supplies and assist with stage presentations and prize giveaways.

“We are so very happy to have the Maui County Council, Boy Scouts of America join us for our back to school celebration”, says Toni Rojas, Marketing Director.  “Scouting helps our youth develop academic skills, self-confidence and ethics, along with leadership and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives”, says Rojas.
